Market City Shopping Center hopped with the Easter Bunny and hosted other fun-filled activities on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This year’s free family-friendly Easter event featured a special Easter treat for the first 200 children, a photo booth with the Easter Bunny from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., balloon animals and art, a keiki craft session by HouseMart Ben Franklin Crafts, plus cotton candy and shave ice. Event-goers took a spin on the 94.7 KUMU prize wheel for prizes from participating merchants as well as entered to win drawings for Market City gift certificates. In addition, Kuilei Place, a new residential community being developed near Market City Shopping Center, joined the event with a booth, sharing information and offering giveaways. Activities were held in the lower-level parking lot with additional parking available at Kaimuki High School.
